Rury Furniture Concept. This project was focused on reusing, recycling, and Reducing the global imprint that humans have. I was inspired by farm life when doing this project. I found that most traditional farming families tend to save and hold on to many of the broken of unused equipment that can be found laying around the farm. With this project I wanted to reuse some of those materials and give them a new purpose. The main construction of the chair consists of fastening pvc together to form a comfortable outdoor seating unit. The hammock utilizes twine to construct the hammock portion and old rebar for the structure of the base.
